It's been a while since I put a CG up, hasn't it? I mean, a proper one. Though those bunny pieces were good. For me, I mean.

Anyway, this is more lineart from a friend, you might have seen her version of this picture. Mine's largely inspired by hers because I figured I'd attempt to get a similar feel to understand the process she takes. It was certainly a learning experience, I can tell you that.

One of the biggest things I learnt was how to make my own magic circles, which is good, but as you can see the magic circle on this is a bit...well, I made the mistake of putting a big beam of light where the circle goes. Whoops.
Still, you can tell it's something-or-other and it made the scythe look a lot less bland.

This piece took several hours to finish, working on and off for a good while now. I originally started a long time ago but I only ended up keeping the hair shading from that time, which I edited a little to make it more complex. The rest of the colour work and background was done over the last couple of weeks between other time-eaters.

Aside from that I guess I don't have much to say. I'm probably going to colour a couple more pieces of lineart by my friend before long, and maybe some other little things. Who knows. XD
